If you’ve been following me (@theSubtleSensor) on Twitter, you’ll know I’ve been busy these past couple of weeks shooting and editing a complete portfolio refresh for London based model, Grace Rutherford.
A shoot like this is quite challenging because we both have to work hard to create a set of very different images. And to make things even more interesting, we only had two days (one in the studio and one on location) to shoot in Newcastle before Grace had to head back down south!
Luckily for me, Grace is a very professional model and was able to help me make some beautiful photographs even though the weather on the location shoot was mostly rainy, cold and grey! I think we were quite successful, while a lot of the pictures are right in the centre of my style, I still came up with some wildcards and we had a lot of fun doing it too!
Thanks very much to the team at Mayfield Studio; there really is no better photography studio in Newcastle. Using their space I was able to create some classy nudes, some contemporary fashion shots as well as the standard head & shoulders/full length fare that every model needs when she’s updating her card.
Anyway, here are the results. As usual, you can click on the image to see it full size and feel free to leave comments (at the bottom) if you wish.
Thanks very much to Grace for choosing to book me and for her hard work on set. If you’d like to see more of my model portfolio work, you can check my gallery or my ModelMayhem page. If you need a model photographer for your portfolio, or if you simply want some nice, calssic nudes for your wall, why not book me? I always aim to deliver beautiful results and I’m actually quite a nice guy to work with too – honest! You can contact me here. I also shoot topless glamour and ‘suicide girl’ type model photography.
